Warning messages in the yeast cell counting process

Some images have large differences in the amount of cells. Please check that your sample is well mixed, since this can affect the accuracy of your result negatively.

There is a difference in the cell count greater than 50% between at least 2 images of the measurement.

This indicates an uneven loading of the chamber. The loading of the sample chamber should be reviewed and it should be ensured that the yeast solution is mixed well right before loading the chamber.

The cell number in your images is not within the optimal range of the device.

In order to guarantee an optimal evaluation, the number of cells per image should be between 5 and 100 cells. Too few cells lead to a lower statistical confidence for the result, while too many cells can negatively influence the image analysis.

Please review your dilution if this warning appears and adjust it as necessary.
