Rubens Angelotti: I met Oculyze in 2017 or 2016, I don’t really remember. At drinktec. And they were still a Startup.

It was in the early stages.

And in 2019, when I went to England, I saw my friends from Anarchy Brewery using Oculyze in their daily routine at the Brewery.

And it is nothing more than an electronic microscope, which analyzes the yeast in real time.

You do the dilution, add the sample to the microscope, you send three to five images to the system and it analyzes the yeast.

It’s amazing. For people who reuse the yeast, want to know the viability, how the cells are, and even to control overpitch or underpitch, Oculyze is a sensational tool. It takes up very little space and has a whole technology around the analysis, which is infinitely better than working with a microscope on a day-to-day basis at the brewery.
