Sample measurement with an external camera

Usage with the App

Install the Oculyze App as described under Installing the App and log in with your user account. To enable the usage with the app the “External” device has to be selected in the App Settings. The camera must be connected to the phone with a connection cable.

Sample measurement

After sample preparation, the stained slide is inserted into the microscope as usual. It must be ensured that the correct fluorescence settings have been made on the microscope and the green fluorescent signal is displayed. Please refer to the manufacturer’s manual for instructions on how to do this.
A measurement can then be started. Find a suitable sample section and adjust the focus so that the image in the app appears sharp. At least 10 images or 200 cells must be evaluated for a measurement.
